Good Earth Gardens
Innovative garden design in South East England
What will happen next?
Firstly, call or send an email to Good Earth to arrange a convenient time for a no-obligations visit to look at your garden and discuss your ideas and requirements.
If you decide to go ahead, we will return to survey your garden, which could take anything from a couple of hours to a day or so. This scale drawing will form the basis of your design. Generally within a couple of weeks from the survey, we will produce a draft plan, showing you our ideas for the design of your garden.
Any suggestions and alterations will be incorporated and we will produce a scale drawing of the design for your garden, from which builders can work. It will incorporate any necessary technical drawings and illustrative sketches for your information.
Once the design is finalised, a contractor is decided upon for any hard landscaping that is needed. We have a number of contractors with whom we work closely, or you may have your own suggestions. Good Earth can project manage the build of your garden, ensuring that all is running smoothly. Any specialists will be brought in – lighting, irrigation, carpenters, craftsmen - and your garden will start to come together.
The planting plan will be drawn up (see planting plan section), plants sourced and finally planted. You can now enjoy your garden!
The costs involved depend entirely on each individual project. Generally, we charge a figure for the design, which includes the survey, and any visits (within reason) prior to the design being completed. Planting plans are also charged on an individual basis, depending on the complexity and size of the project. Any additional time is charged at an hourly rate, and this may include project management, sourcing or planting plants.
