Everybody uses their gardens in different ways. A beautiful place to look at and be in may top a lot of people’s lists, somewhere to relax, to entertain, to play in or to nurture and grow flowers or vegetables are some more practical considerations. At Good Earth we do everything we can to help you make your garden just the place that you want.

Whether you are looking for a complete overhaul, or some inspiration to transform an uninspiring area of your garden, Good Earth can create imaginative and practical solutions to all your planting and design needs. If you want us to design a woodland wilderness, a play area or to create a wildly romantic entertaining space – or if you are looking for a new planting scheme for an existing part of your garden – we work with you to create a concept, produce beautiful hand-drawn plans, identify and project manage suitable contractors and source and plant all the plants, leaving you to do as much or as little as you would like.

Good Earth is run by Annabel Foster, a qualified and experienced garden designer who has been designing gardens of all shapes and sizes for over 10 years, based until recently in London but now in Ticehurst, East Sussex (close to the Kent border).

Our local territory within East Sussex and Kent spans Tunbridge Wells, Cranbrook, Tenterden, Hawkhurst, Wadhurst, Uckfield, Framfield and Battle but we are happy to travel further afield.
